Hagley Catholic High School believes that a week of work experience is a very valuable part of students’ careers education. We ensure that this is offered to students in Year 10 and 12 during the summer term. Students are encouraged to obtain work experience placements for themselves and fully participate in this opportunity to develop experience in the work-place.
Work Experience is launched annually in the Autumn Term through assemblies; placements must be conformed during the Spring term to ensure Health and Safety checks can be made.
Year 10 Work Experience is co-ordinated by Hagley's Careers Adviser with support from the Head of Year. In Year 12, it is co-ordinated by the Sixth Form team.

To administer and evaluate work experience placements, we use the UniFrog Plaftorm. For further information, please see this video.
Every year some students are able to find unusual and stimulating placements beyond the local area. We are keen to support these but would urge that early contact is made with our Careers Adviser, in order to check Health and Safety compliance.
Please contact the Careers Adviser for more information.
